30% seems a bit high.

I've seen them vary from barely over 2500 watts to over 2800. It's all luck of the draw really. Mine is rated at 2688w.

My teammates run them at 1 ohm daily. They CAN go into protect running at 1 ohm if you are really hard on them, but for the most part they are fine.

We have gotten one to burp running at .5, but it was VERY picky and I wouldn't recommend that anyone do it.

if you mod a 2500.1 to handle over 16v, you'll see a huge gain. 30% varies on each amp, but I've seen some 2500's at or almost 3000 watts, stock. So that's 500..

Ive only seen a few. They were above 700 on the ones Ive seen. I agree both are good amps. Go for the one you can get cheapest.

if you need 2ohm go kicker, if u need 1ohm, go rockford, if you have manuf. warranty, you dont want to blow anything by dropping it below manuf. loads. juss my 2 cents. both amps will do the job, just fit the one better to what your needs are
