I dunno what kinda power you would see, but I'm pretty sure you would have to mod it to go down to 1 ohm. If I remember correctly, they go into protect if you try to wire them to 1 ohm.

I've heard amp from amp. Some people say they can do 1 ohm daily bump and others report 30 minutes till it goes protect.

i run my kx 2500.1 (same board as ZX just not as under rated) and after 30 min it might be a little hot, but not like blistering damaging hot. never went into protect...takes 1 ohm pretty **** well

We had a guy at a local shop down here tell me they went into protect. I have never dealt with teh ZX line personally though, so I was just going by what he said.

was it possible that it wasnt on a good electircal sysetm? its apretty **** efficent amp but i would imagine 11.5 volts or less it might send it in to protect. anything under 11 cvolts would definitly send this into protect. mine RARELY goes under 11.9 or 11.8 volts at the lowest ever off 2 red tops and a stock 90amp alty and has never shut off. after 30 min of playing it has gotten hot before, but ive had amps run hard BY FAR hotter. than this has ever gotten. if it ever gets warm or im on a long trip i can role the windows down and with a little air across it it stays cool even for 2 hour trips of lost of music and heavy bass in that mix alot ( i ussually have a **** headache by the end of the trip from that bass). with a lil air over it itll run alllllll day at 1 ohm nominal (.7ohm dcr)

I have only seen them be underrated by 400 or less. Not by 800 wich seems to be the average on the T2000. I would like to see someone who has used them both.

Agreed. Im looking to double my current power and these are the two amps Im looking at now.
