I didn't jump in with a one-sided opinion promoting my team. I've had experience with Cadence, it's not garbage. I'm currently running a Kicker amp and I'm happy.
We could sit here and argue all night. If the guy actually wants good advice, obviously neither of us are suitable.

Yet he wanted people's opinion.

Well as far as batteries go ordering them direct would be your best bet. I dont know of anyone local that sells that brand. And no i havnt tried an alt. from anyone local.

Nobody in Chicago sells Kinetik? I would think in a large city like that there has to be someone. Don't you have to pay extra hazardous shipping fees when ordering direct?

Like i said none that i know of. I dont run kinetiks so i have never done that much searching.

I've never run Kinetiks either, but a friend swears by them. I've got an Optima now. Are the Kinetiks supposed to be any better?

Wow, people saying cadence is junk and doesn't do rated power...here's a vid for you:



Same 4 channel I'm using right now. Rated at 2x250, does 266 per channel at .8%thd.

Any reason why this can't do 2500 watts?

im now using 2 kicker2500s now, i was just thinking if i should go on to cadence.

stay with kicker it is a very efficient amp and it does more than rated power, there is a reason why people compete with kicker amps and not so much with cadance amps.

im have 2 1400 kinetics now, there are afew places here that sells them, i just wanted to know if he could have got them cheaper . i paid $150 for each 1400
