hey guys i have a question or more of an opion to ask you guys.
i currently have an orion 1200d and it was damaged so i decided to refinish it. I just finished taking off the clear coat off of the orion 1200d (pic below), with some 320grit emery (sandpaper).
and as you can see there are still some deep pits in the amp about 5 of them, which will still be there once i polish it and it re-clear coat it.
by painting it would this effect the amp? like would heat generate faster or be harder to get rid of b/c if i make the cast aluminium shroud (i believe it is called) all black, deeppp and shiny wouldn't it be thicker and would be harder for the heat to leave the amp?
anyways and then lets say about 1 year down the road i want to sell this amp? would someone want a deep black and shiney orion 1200d? like would you want it or am i jsut wasting my time painting it. and by deep shiny finish i mean something like this(see second pic)
and thanks for your time and help and suggestions.
ps the car is my dads it is a fast ride!!! unfortunity their is so system in it blah lol.
