depends on the box more than the sub

but alot of people say l7's are loud

so i would say a 12" l7

kicker will probably be louder but Re would probably sound better...not worth the extra 80 if your only running 800w

go with l7 12" ported around 2.5-3cuft tuned around 33-34hz or so

also what amp are you running

its going into a mustang so the box cant be that big. i am getting a hifonics bxi-1608d so that means the sub will get about 1100 watts at 2ohms, sorry.

re sx if you give the sub more than 1k watts. mine slams hard but still retains sq.

I'll assume you're gonna be wiring it to a 2-ohm load since you mentioned the amp you are using. So you'll need the dual 4 version.
