kicker vs alpine?

well, kicker is not even the best even when it comes to mainstream. The best Kicker amp, the Warhorse, I have personally seen rated at 10,150rms. The Fosgate t15k shits all over that thing. So even mainstream, ill take a Fosgate over Kicker any day of the week. What are Kickers best subs? Solo-x? The fosgate TeamRF subs blows that away too.

Kicker is a good company, with solid products and a legit rep. But to say they are the best, or close to it is absolutely false. They arent even the best in their own genre, "quality mainstream".

I laugh at people with their kicker 750.1 and a L7 and think its competition level.

I was just looking at a Treo sub the other day that can handle 20,000watt burps...but im guessing that you havent heard of them either

1st of all, yes ive heard of cadence. they sell that shit at bootleg flea markets. second of all, im not saying kicker is the best, they are one of the best. and yes fosgate makes some good shit they're just as good as kicker, all i wanted to know is out of a kicker 1000 watt amp and alpine 1000 watt amp, which one would you guys recomend, thats all. dont need no smart *** coments.

If you think alpine and kicker are the best there is, then so be it. But like it was said earlier, don't be mad when you go to a REAL competition and get blown out of the water by Sundown, Audioque, RD, Cactus, or any other brand you've never heard of. I don't even know where the fuck Lufkink, TX is (I'm pretty sure you mean LUFKIN), but I have a feeling the competition out there sucks donkey balls and is stuck in the early 90's when those brands dominated.

Except when you consider the RF T15K can only put out around 3.5 kw continuously..

Alpine makes very refined amplifiers which sets them above most other brands... Given the two choices I'd definatly take the Alpine...

wait..i could be very wrong...Kicker could conceiveably come in 4th at the HS comp, behind RF, Memphis and MTX..lol

i know about ohms and all that. and no i am not an idiot, ive heard lots of sysytems. once again i always see KICKER winning in sound competition so stfu.

That rating is for about three second before the caps on the output rails discharge..

...perhaps, i dont specificallly know the exact specs, other than its rated at 15000 and is the loudest amp ive ever heard. Either way, i may be wrong about the t15k/warhorse debate, but Fosgate is still a better company than kicker in my opinion

Since were on the topic of off brand amps does anyone know if that Diablo amp the 3000 watt one is any good?? some dude on craigslist offered me that for my hoopty azz snowboard.
