guys one simple question ... my brother wants to get a kicker solobaric ... he has an alpine pdx1.600 amp ... so should he go for an l5 or can he play an l7 ... the motive is definitely loud bass ... please help out ...
an L5 will take quite a bit more than rated so he shouldnt spend the extra money on the L7. from my experience and kicker reps,the L5 and L7 are equal in volume on the same power, until you get over 1000 watts,then the 7 is needed.
thanks for the fast response dude ... but what abt durability? ... and other factors ... so are they actually same except for the 150 rms power difference? ... and if he wishes to upgrade to a 750 rms amp later ... then can he run the l7 with the pdx for the time being?
