kicker solo baric...good? bad?

Hey guys, Im going to look for a sub soon for my Ford F - 150 single cab. I have 3 grand to spend on a sub, box, and head unit and a sweet amp, maybe even some nice speakers if you know of any let me know. Anyways I heard one of these solo barics bumpin and I thought it sounds ****ing loud, I couldnt really tell how much SQ it had but I know the guy and it's only 1 12'' kicker slolo baric but it has like 1100 watt amp or somethign, i can't quite member how many watts it had but i think thats it , are these nice subs? How much would a 12" sub be? and what head unit and amp would go good with it, thanks alot.

L7 is really loud... but SQ is not really all that... i have two for sale brand new never installed yet.. $350+shipping

yeah, i geuss im a newb to car audio, are the L7's better because they are square? are the slolo barics the same as the L7'S just a diff. shape??

the L7 is an solar baric an they hit a preatty good deal harder but i dunno bout sq an theres a preatty big differance in them my brother had 2 15" round solar barics an 1 15" l7 would probaly hit almost as hard as his did if not harder an the round solar barics are harder to find being that they dont make them ne more

so they dont have good SQ? that what im mainly looking for, liek 50% SQ and 50 % SPL, which sub will give me that? alpine type r's??

type r's will be ok an ek's would be goood an jl w3v2's w6v2's or w7's will be good ne thing eclipse would be good but there pricey

oh i forgot u have an reg cab f-150 forget about the w7's theres no way u can get them behind the seat they need alot of airspace.

type r are are not a spl sub... they dont make the round solobarics anymore..

1-8 solobaric L7 hits 148.7 db's!!!!
