what would cause the + wire on the speaker to burn off? The wire that goes to the vc.The subs are 10" 8ohms svc kickers. I have 2 bridged at 4ohms to a Phoenix Gold xs-2300 and only one sub burned.
Possibly overexcursion could cause that tinsel lead to break...take it back to your kicker dealer, they should replace it. Otherwise you should be able to sauter the wire back together to get it working again. Maybe add some extra lenth to the wire to keep some slack in it.
