No, I'm was talking about RF P1's or similar low-end subs.

is that your daughter in your sig? if so, my wife says she think shes a beautifull lil girl. and for the subs... naw.. forget the P1's. whenever im ready for my new system, ill give these comps to my wife. thinking about a single 12" L5 on 2 kx400.1s -- would that be safe? *edit* just noticed they are dual 2ohms. my amp is stable to only 2ohms.. but if i run each amp on each voice coil, could i still do this, or what?

Naw she's not my daughter. And I'm not recommending the P1's. I'm just saying that is the only kind of speaker I would actually drop into a prefab box like the one you have. Low end speakers can go in low end boxes. How much did you find your L5 for? I can get you a 12" L7 for $189 shipped. And I would buy a single Kicker 750.1 if that is the route you were to take. Easyier to install and setup.

as for the box, its not typically low end. i mean, i wouldnt even begin to compare it to R/F, or any other low end prefabs they have out there. it was built for the subs and tuned for the subs, so i wouldnt call it low end. just a basic prefab box made for specific subs. it actually gets down and dirty, finally getting some trunk and windshield flex off of it

I saw those L5's on there a while back. You do know they are the oldest model they made and they are factory renewed, not brand new?

yes. those are the ones my wife had in her eclipse. she got them brand new back in 03' and **** they sounded amazing. but yea.. i think im going to pass on those. i can get something better. i just ordered a new pioneer HU, woofersetc.com is now processing my order for my new infinity 3.5 and 6x9 3ways. so i should be getting my new HU and components in within a week or two. ill be set for a while. ill probly just do a single 12 or 15 Fi SSD setup.
