Kicker Made in China

Kicker works hand in hand with Communist bastards. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Actually though I was referring to Communist hell holes like China and Vietnam.

WOW, I really think you guys are over reacting. It basically comes down to a ****ed if you do ****ed if you don't scenario. If you do out source people ***** about it… like now, if you don't people will ***** about how expensive it is and you'll go out of business because the customer is always right and when they go to a retail front and they can pick between a $200 American driver and a $100 Chinese driver that performs the same, which are you going to buy? You can't believe fault any car audio company or any other field, as we do our best to take care of you the customer. Believe me, I mean that...I'm 23 years old and there grey hairs on my head. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The main question you should ask yourself about any car audio product is....."How does the company stand behind the product?" If the answer is Excellent, then it really doesn't matter where it comes from. In my honest opinion you’re not buying a subwoofer, amplifier, etc you’re buying the people that stand behind and support a product. The good companies that go to all these troubles to support there products will either do two things. (1) - Engineer and Develop an excellent product 99.9999% of the time, that there proud to put there name on, believe it or not, we care about our image and the satisfaction of our customers. Or (2) - 0.0001% of the time a lemon might happen but if it does you make a call and you get a no questions asked RA or RMA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I can honestly say at SBN, Tracy and Kicker were there to take care of business, I'm talking a truck and trailer full of spare just to be sure. Then when power didn't come....they went and bought a generator for the team to charge with....So let me say again.....you never buy just a product......you buy the people that stand behind them on a rainy day!

Guys, I don't know why your just now freaking out. They've been that way since 2000. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifYou'd be amazed what other manufactures woofers are made at the exact same buildhouse as ours. They are still built with our build QA and QC, or they won't pass. So if you thought it was good a year, or two years ago, it still is. 95% of most car audio is outsourced nowdays, it's nothing new. But all design, and engineering, is done right here in Stillwater, OK //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Indeed.

Not sure where people have been //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif... this isn't recent news...

People want 1200 watts for $250 and they want it made in the USA with a liftetime warranty.

Come on, if you want a 1200 watt amp made in america (where the FTC will allow it to be called that way and be legit), you will probably pay at least double (RF is assembled/engineered/whatever in the USA, but it has parts made elsewhere).

You get what you pay for. We have very little warranty issues with Kicker, and people buying it aren't 39 year olds who drive Volvos and listen to Barry Manilow. They are young, they are cheap, and they want it to be loud... and the stuff holds up.

america's slogan should be changed to..."america...made in china"

I have nothing against outsourcing and I've never owned kicker amps fully built in the U.S. However I did own a 900.4 sx and a 600.1sx made in Koreea and they were by far the worst amplifiers I've ever used (other brands used were infinity, jl audio, polk, and orion).

This is sort of besides the point, but since ive got all the kicker fanatics here, why cant I STILL not get a new coils for my vast collection of 04 L7 10's that are currently holding the cement floor down in my garage? You cant tell me that out of 9 billion L7's made, there werent a few left over somewhere ***LOOKS OVER AT POLECAT*** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
