So if i were to get a pait 12 L7's what would be an ideal amp for me to buy..possibly a cadence???andplease more suggestions.

well it seems like the power HX2's and the L7's seemed to be priced right around the same range, but from what I remember the HX2's can take a few more watts (but I may be wrong, have to check it) but I think the Rockford is a preety sick sub also I was very impressed with the 2 installs I have seen them in in competitions this year

unfortunately. i have the punch hx2"s( they are 8's). they're rated 400wrms, 800 peak. the 10" L7's (which would go in, should i decide to do this)are 600 and 1200 respectabley. i just saw that they have 8" L7's. they r rated 450 and 900. the 8's would drop right in. the 10's need about 2" more mounting depth, which i don't have! that be a closer comparo anyway.

i can't remember how to figure the surface area of a circle, but the L7's have a displacement of 59.5 ^in. anyone care to refresh my memory on the math for the circle?

as to the amp......jl 1000/1, jbl 1200/1, rf power 1500.1 or the punch version,
