kicker l7 too quiet???

**** those idiots at Best Buy. They'll prob mess it up more than it is now. Do you have it in a sealed box? If so then buy a vented box and that should increase you loud factor by a lot. I had my lL7 in a tiny sealed box and with 350 watts it barely hit but then i put in in a vented box and it hits like a mother ****er with the same wattage. Gives me headaches everyday....love it. If that doesnt work than id suggest that you just say **** it, sell it on ebay, and then buy a new one.

best buy is so gay.i walk up to the car audio dept. to ask for a job and the guy is like ya we just rotate ppl from the store around so we dont have any openings,and then i hear the guy say as i walk away"dude i have no f***ing clue what this stuff does" ...and i think to myself...i know more than everyone in that store and yet im not hired but this 18yr old *** who cant tell the diff between sony and treo has a car audio job.the guys at the car shops dont even know who RE is or AA for that matter.ED is just 2 letters to them.but hey thats how it goes

everyone always rags on best buy for not having quality employees or installers. well i will put it simply as this. do you go into a retail store like best buy that doesn't excel in Car Audio thinking they will know it all. no, the guys are there simply to have a good paying job with a good discount. i only defend them b/c i used to work car audio in a best buy here and had people say man i know more than you. some idiot thought his rockford and sony system would be better than my Ed subs, Re amp and Zapco amp on my canton comps b/c none of them were stuff best buy or Xtreme Sounds(a huge shop in Austin) would sell. all i can say is when the installer's came back that knew me and told em to shut up b/c i know my stuff then it was funny. in the end with best buy, circuit city etc etc don't expect nothing more than people who want to either 1)make what they think is a decent living or 2) college or h/s kids putting themselves through college or working for extra cash.

The employees at places like best buy are only doing there job, which is selling the products that the store provides & nothing more. You Can't go to a place like that and expect to get top quality products and top quality tech support/install because that is not the kind of customers they are targeting. These are electronic stores for the general public which has all the products and all the service for the average JOE at a discounted service. So dont get mad @ the employees, They wouldnt have a job if they recomended a top end car audio product for you that the store did not keep in stock. I still like going to places like this every great once and a while but I deffinately dont try and get any tech support or sales advice from them, I just like to compare prices on the products they offer.

i dont mind they dont know stuff.im not mad at the people as so much the manager.i asked the guy that since i has some audio expirience could i get hired and he said no.its a giant chain store i cant really expect much.i just dont like the idea of them rotating the people who work there in diff sections.i know it gives diversity to what they can do its just i mean if someone loves to do something let them if they are more qualified,iv worked in retail for skate shop before for on and off for 2 years and i mean i did it cuz i liked it.i gues im just frustrated i cant get a job doing what i like...but noone really gets to do that..and im not raggin on the job i would love to be able towork and best buy or cc or gg.anyway im just frustrated.shit happens.....even when u dont expect it...so so **** gay

The main reason for rotating people in different departments is called crosstraining. And crosstraining will acount for most if not all of management material. This is how most companies opperate. It is just a simple upper management stratagy that produces several positive posibilities for the store/company.

dude it must be ur wires or something.cuz if u ran it from ur friends car to outside and it worked and then from ur car to outside and it doesnt work that means that either ur amp doesnt work in ur car,maybe its wired wrong in ur car,or the wires itself are screwed up.try running the sub w/ a different amp and see what happens.try all new wires and amp to ur sub,borrow ur friends stuff and install the HU,amp and wires(if you can)into ur car and see if that works.maybe u just have wires that hate you.....

umm no....i have a box for 2 l7's and it worked nice w/ them and then i sealed up the cutout and have 1 l7 running in it now and it still hits hard.so if the box has to be just right wouldnt then,in theory,the box not work for my 1 sub?the only thing box wise for l7's that is obvious is that they need space,and lots of it

using "in theory" made me feel so smart
