ehh using his headunit would mean unwiring and rewiring all those stupid wires again... bah.... man... maybe i outta juss sell the stuff i have as a bundle on ebay...

30 minutes and a bit of money if i need to repair... i ordered the headunit from ikesound... even if they do repair.. i need to pay $15 shipping and $29 return shipping fee... and i'm not even 100% sure that the hu is the problem...

well i still say it's worth the time and effort but that's me. do as you want b/c it's your decision when it comes right down to it.

man just do it yourself that's my suggestion. if car audio is honestly important to you at all you've already spent at least 500 on your system you won't get half that online i don't think. so why not just spend 1hr tops and switch out the h/u's??

ok now..... get that meter back out and connect the negetive to your amps ground chasis and the positive to your positive battery terminal..... sometimes your ground is bad and your wattage is really reduced even if there's only a few volts dropped through a bad ground.

if you havent tried this....get out that DMM and put the negetive lead on your amps chasis ground and the positive lead on your batterys poistive terminal..... if the voltage reading is not the same as it is when you put the leads on both battery terminals (12.5, 14, whatever it may be) then your problem is you dont have a real ground...... try moving your ground to a location with the same potential difference(voltage) as the batteries terminals. even if it is short a few volts it could significantly reduce the wattage to your subs

okay.. checked out everything again... even had the headunit replaced and checked that.... still won't work... so it can't be the headunit either... but i checked the wiring over with the al & ed's owner and he says it's fine.. he recommended MAYBE new RCAs... so i got a set of rockford fosgate power series (very sexy looking) RCAs... still not gettin shit out of my system.... it's pissin me off.... anybody close to LA area willing to check out my system or know of a shop that will for cheap?

man if i lived there i would just b/c i know that the L7's can hammer with that kind of power. i mean i did a 148.4 with 1 L5 15" with 700rms so i am not sure as of yet. why not see if maybe since your giving al&ed so much business that maybe they will rip it all apart and re-do it for cheap??

a friend of mine ran 3 l7 12"s in a sealed box with an old school rf punch 200 dsm wired 1 ohm to each sub

he was hittin like 148 or so

now hes runnin it with a slot vented box

goin for some kinda record in the class

if you go to any comps in micigan you'll see him

its late model blazer with a envoy front clip

silver/brown color
