Kicker L7 sub wireing

I just bought a Kicker L7 Sub 12" 4ohm and im wondering on how i should wire it. Parallel or series? I'm new to systems so any help would be cool. I wanted to know whats going to get me the best bass but not overkill. I like the be able to hear my music. I bought a Kicker ZX750.1 amp. I really dont understand the whole difference between ohm load. With my sub at 4ohm i am putting out a 2ohm load parallel wireing. With series it's only 8ohm load... Will it still hit pretty decent?

the lower the ohm load the more power you will get but less quality. 2 vs 8 your going to want to go with 2 though. neither will hurt the amp or sub if you want to try both and see which you like more. if you had a dual 2 sub and could wire it at 1 or 4 (instead of 2 or 8) you would have to be careful once you get down around 1.

I don't think the ZX750.1 is stable when shown a 1Ohm load so him not having a DVC 2 Ohm driver is probably a good thing.

You'll want to wire that L7 in parallel to give the amp a 2 Ohm nominal load so you'll get the 750+ watts the amp is designed to make.
