i have a sealed box at 1 cubic feet. my lights dim a little bit. bit i have an 800 watt peak amp pushing 2 12's, they sounded alot louder. would the big 3 make a difference? this should get alot louder right? i have a reg cab truck so, im gonna have to take out the middle seat. im think the widest i can go is 30 inches. height is about 15 depth at about whatever you want. what the fudgeicles should i do for cubic feet and tuning? i was thinking 2.0 cubic with port tuned at 32Hz.

Ok well first lets check the basics. I assume you have the dual 4 ohm L7 and have that Kicker amp wired to 2ohm? Check to make sure its wired up right and you have the correct sub because you may have it wired to 8ohm by mistake or maybe you have the dual 2 ohm and have it wired to 4ohm. Either situation would drop your available power. Next, make sure the sealed box.. is really sealed. Push on the cone of the sub and it should return to its orginal position instantly.. if it takes a few seconds to move back into place your box has a leak in it. Check those things and post your findings.

checked all of that, its a dual 4 ohm sub wired in parrel. i already checked it.

it returns really slow. the box was poorly made i mean 2 screws on each side the rest was brad nailed together. there was a gap in the corner. it wasnt even 3/4" MDF. it was like 1/2" um, the top part where the sub sits into was cracked in the corner. they made that 3/4" MDF to throw you off.

sounds to be a ton of installation issues... 800 watts peak isn't going to make that sub do what it is capable of. Edit: make sure your amp is hooked up properly. Build a ported box and you'll be amazed.

def install issue, nice big ported box, and if it'd be even better if you had a grand of powa to throw at each sub...

I think you have that backwards. When an enclosure is properly sealed, the sub will take several seconds to come back up. If it immediately pops back up, then you have a definate leak somewhere.
