Kicker L7 12" wiring

i have 2 Kicker L7 12" subs and i'm trying to wire them to get 1 ohm and i would like to know how would i use the speaker wire to hook these up? should i use both sides of the wire to hook it up because i need like 4 sets of wires

no i have the dvc 2 ohm and i know how to wire them (thanks) but i need to know what kind of wire to use, do i ues regular speaker wire? would i have 2 split the wire up?

yeah you would have to split it, useing 12 awg should be good.

im using 8gauge wire for the coil to coil and other streetwire that has a seethrough cover for the rest

And if you have the DVC 2 ohm versions then you can NOT get a 1 ohm mono load...

Thats not true because not all the voice coils are 2 ohms, they may very a tiny bit, wired my dual 1 ohm solo x and it was wired down to .5ohms but read 1 ohm on the meter.one coil was 1.4 and the other was .7

thank you everybody i found the answer i needed, thanks and i checked and it can't be wired to 1 ohm i dont think jus 2

That's called DCR and with box rise the whole ohm load changes. If he has two DVC 2 ohm subs he CANNOT wire to 1 ohm.

8-14 guage wire. Sorry you can not get a final 1ohm load.
