Kicker CVX & AMP Configuration

Can any of you folks give me some input on this configuration? So far I've picked a Kicker CVX 12" and I'm still deciding on an amplifier. I've been looking at a Kicker KX600.1 Mono amp or the new Kicker ZX750.1 Mono amp, I can't really decide on which one to get for this sub.

this will be in a sealed enclosure, packed w/ polyfil.

I've decided to get the ZX750.1, now here is another question, the ZX750.1 is rated @ 750wRMS @ 2ohms, the sub I have is dual 2ohms, will this amp deliver the rated wattage @ dual ohms?

you need a dual 4 ohm woofer to maximize the amps output.

yeah in order to run a mono amp on that thing you should have gotten a dual 4 ohm model. A dual 4 ohm sub you can wire it into 2 ohms, thus getting the full power of the amp. but they are underrated. the 750.1 amps i have seen make as much as 930 watts RMS. the CVX 12 is rated at 750. i wouldn't do that.

i myself have a 12" CVX on the way and i have a 600.1 that i was/am going to sell. it makes 710W.. just about perfect for a CVX 12 imo since they take 750.

i have a cvx and it can take power pretty well i feed mine well over 750 daily and it bumps pretty good imo

i was going to get the 750.1 but i thought 930 would be too much.. maybe for a 15..
