Kicker CVR or Alpine type-r?

yeah, id just like to know where the hell to get a new cvr 15 for 100 shipped, cheapest ive found is like 110-120

This thread is kinda funny...

I have a 12" 2005 CVR in a 2.0 cf net ported box tuned to 34 hz running off of somewhere around 400 watts...

Its pretty **** loud in my trunk...

Granted I have never heard a type r, but I do see that a lot of members of this site are doing crazy things with them (however, it must be noted that these people hitting 14x dBs are doing it with a lot more wattage than im throwing my CVR)

But I am definitely going to pick up another CVR and run 2 12"s for half the price of buying a type r instead...

Are you only wanting to go with 1 15 or could you go with 2 or 3 12's. What is the install going in and what is the air space? It can be a coin toss but I like 12's for the deepness and the punch in the right box. 1-15 is around 3-4 feet cube and 2 or 3 12's can go in the same air space. At the same time I have made 15's hit like 10's. It is your choice and your money.
