I believe thats just CC's attemt to get rid of the 05 models, so that the stores that still have em can sell em quick.

The closest store to me that has them available are 1 hour away....... well 45 min but its not worth the drive.....

Those are 2007 models (Kicker's subs' model numbers begin with what year model they are - the "07" lets you know what model they are)

Additionally the last "2" in the model number is indicative of those subs being the Dual 2 Ohm versions.

If you need the Dual 4 Ohm version you'd want to make sure you're getting the 07CVR124.

Now that $150 for a pair of 12s is much more in line with the pricing I thought was going on.

If you're willing to wait a few days for them to ship to you then you ought to get them from Crutchfield and save a few bucks on sales tax.
