The CompVR is likely the best driver available at its current pricepoint.

Crutchfield has the same Buy1 Get1 sale - and you'll not pay sales tax...

I installed a pair of CVR 12's in my friends Xterra in 4 @ 35, powered by a JL 500/1. It was f'n loud. We got the subs on sale from CC.

the '05 models on circuit city's website (only 10"s though) are 67 a piece and b1/g1 free

I thought about that - that it might get added automatically as you proceed through the checkout process.

So I continued on up to the point where you have to enter your CC info and up to that point only 1 was in my "Cart" so I'm thinking rather than b1g1 they're just dropping the price in half for each sub on the '05 models.

The b1g1 everywhere else that I've seen is for '07 models...
