Kicker Comp VR or Solo Baric?

Due to a good deal that has been presented to me I now own a 12" Kicker Solo-Baric L5, a Directed 600d amp, and box for the sub.

I am considering replacing my 2 10" Kicker Comp VRs withe the single solo baric. I am trying to figure out which subs will sound the best and give the best performance hooked up to this amp.

I am trying to get an idea of what others would think about it before I go about unhooking the 10s and pulling the box out of my trunk.

Also both the Comp VRs and the Solo-Baric are both in slot port boxes.

hmmm thats tough probably the two tens. but if you had a second l5 (which you should wink wink) that would obviously rip

Yeah, I would like to get another l5. Right now I'm also looking at the difference in space that would be freed up by switching to the single 12".

A friend of mine told me tonight that he thinks that the L5 would probably hit close to what the 10s will, and would probably sound clearer.

I have no clue with all of this, the 2 10s are the first subs that I have ever owned or had any experience with.

I wouldn't have started thinking of changing my system, if I hadn't been offered the L5, Amp, and box for only $150.

The 12 will probably like a larger box than the 2 10s...should be a toss up if both given good installs...SQ going to the CompVRs and SPL would be close...
