Hey im lookin to build a box to go into the back of my expedition for 2 Kicker Comp VR 12s. Im takin out the third seat but I dont want anything oversized. Id like it sealed firing out the front. Anyone have any plans for a box that'll fit or a place where I can find some?

i dont have plans but my firend has an expidition and 2 12" VR's with like 1.5 cuft apiece and those sound awsome. to bad he is overpowerin them, they are on the verge of blowing

Nah that should be fine, I have the comp Vr's and there getting 400rms no problem which there rated for so they shouldn't be a problem..... should be nice and loud with 2 of them I had 2 of them getting only like 200rms each and it was loud, to loud for me so I sold one and just stuck with the one just more power...

You said you wanted them firing forward...in most SUV's without a wall, they will sound better, and deeper firing at the rear of the vehicle. It gives the waves more room to extend. I would give them about 1.5-2 cubes sealed. They sound better in bigger boxes from my experience. I heard a couple of them in a pretty nice size ported box, probably 2.5-3 cubes per sub and they pounded pretty hard. You have plenty of space and if you're taking the seat out anyway I recommend porting them. Good luck.
