Kicker comp vr 2005's vs 2007's

Thinking about some kicker comp vr's. Brand new the 2005 model is the same price as the 2007 model.

2005 model is 400 rms and the 2007 model is 300 rms.

Would you choose the 2007 version anyway? Is it a better sub? Or is the 2005 better?
