kicker comp vr 12's

im trying to pick up 2 (two) 12" Kicker Comp VR's (05 model) in a medium/large sealed box for $150, i was wondering what differences can i expect from these subs to what i have now? im currently running 2 12" Kicker Solobaric L7's (gunmetal versions).

will the VR's yield in better SQ overall?

and what you think about the price for the VR's?

and for shits and giggles, can i run my hifonics brutus bx1000d at .5ohm ? i was gonna try and hook up all 4 12's to it lol

Comp vr's are decent subs for the price there kinda like a beginnner setup. You wouldn't want to take a step down from solobarics to comp vr's. try throwing those solobarics in a sealed box if you want to get a bit more sq. if anything check out some other subs that are equal to the solobarics and have good sq while at the same time getting loud. and i hope you werent serious about hooking up al 4 of those 12's because it would sound horrible
