kicker comp / cvr supporters input needed

I just bought my first hatch in 20 years of doin audio in my trucks. Lookin forward to doin a budget system that gets loud on lower watts to take advantage of the hatchback. Anybody have a 1st hand experience with kicker comps or cvr's in a hatch on relativly low power gettin loud. I know the comp 15's get loud and low off 500 or less watts but use about 8-10 cubes to do it. any help on my decision on what subs to use will be helpful. I'm not 100 % stuck on kickers but am very familiar with them and what they can do in a truck on low power. How can they do in a hatch, 4 10's 4 12's or 2 15's all roughly on 500 watts maybe a 750.1 if i go the 15 route. I havent heard any cvr's that sound very good. any experiences to help me make a decision will be great thanks, Dave. 2003 matrix, got about 8 cubes to work with. no electrical upgade is planned.

i got an sdc 10 and had a sdc 15, lookin to go a little lower budget and power handling. like kicker comps or cvr's but hvent heard them in a hatch. I n my truck ive had aq 15 on a kx600.1 a 15 quad 1 mojo on a hifonics 600.1 15 and a maw 15 on a punch 600.1 and a 15 inch L5, 2 rockford p3's on a p1000bd so now im lookin lower budget fun build with the hatch room.

CVr's are good in a hatch I have 2 12's in my focus hatch right now. They get pretty darn loud off 600rms. They are getting replaced right now though

I had 2 cvr 15s getting 500w each and they blew in less than a month, i put 2 pyramid 15" PW1586x subs in their place and theyre still going 2 years later, beating the pure shit out of them. They really are solid subs, trust me ive had both, all i do is try out cheap shit.

Oh no they are still going strong, Putting in 2 rli 8's in instead. Its fun getting loud with small subs, and surprising the shit out of people.

I've owned a ton of cvr's. I had 3 10's in the stand, 1 15 in the ficus and now the 2 12;s. Very good budget subs. My 15 took 600rms like a champ

cmon guys give a ole timer a little help here. I still have the original bass patrol cd and power supply bass boom bottom, so i go way back but havent been on the scene in a while. Do the cvr's really sound bad? I know the comp sound good just not super loud but hit the lows nice.
