Kicker and Hifonics??

ok from what have read the kicker zx1000.1 puts out 1000wrms+ @ 2ohms pretty consistently and is in the 300$'s

but this Hifonics BXi1606D says to power 1100wrms @ 2ohms..

and is about 100$ cheaper..

and this powering a (1) DVC 4ohm 15" Kicker L7

can someone please help me out on which one to choose?

from what i understand, the hifonics is overrated, i've never owned one personally, but do own a 1000.1. it benched at over 1200 @ 2ohms 14.4 volts... super solid amp, best i've owned. everyone i've ever heard said their kicker amps were solid, on the other hand, i've heard many bad things about hifonics. if it was me, i'd get the kicker... guaranteed to put out what it says and more...

i highly doubt you'll be dissapointed... and do some searching, i got mine used with only 3 weeks use here for 220 shipped!!! just make sure to check refs if you decide to buy here...

Hifonics are overrated not under. The hifonics would probably put out in the range of 800-900 watts @ 2 ohms, and the kicker would ~1200@ 2 ohms. Hence, the price difference. The Hifonics bxi2006 is more in line with the kicker zx1000.1

and would like 4 gauge 1500watt wiring work fine?

with only 1000rms or w/e the zx1000 puts out would i need to get a bigger alternator or really do any mods, so like my lights wont flicker like crazy or somthin

and can someone show me an example of a kit to buy?

this has nothing to do with audio but awry, hell yeah. rome is whats up. will never ride anything else.

haha and while im making a post ill add in i have a 2 chanel zx and its very noice. no complaints. i have no input on the hifonics but im sure youll be satisfied with the kicker.
