i have 2 kicker zr600's,problem is both were working when i shut the truck off, went inside for the night, that morning they didnt work,i hooked up another amp just to see if it was something else, and it worked,i even looked inside the amps, nothing is burnt or broke?

Are they under warranty? Definitely don't "trash them", that would be pretty dumb. If they truly are blown then you either will have to sell them as blown, or send them out to get fixed (kicker would probably cost a lot more than some of the guys do amp repair on here).

What all did you check on the amp? I mean other than swapping it out with a different amp, you checked nothing. It's unlikely you blew both at the same time, so I would try hooking them back up and checking voltages first.

i did that, nothing,i sent kicker an email, just waiting back,i sent it a couple of days ago,i checked the grounds, remote wire, only thing i couldn't check was the crossover modules they have,i only have 2.... but that might be pretty unlikely they both went out,the boards are both clean,no burns or anything...

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere to me. But you have provided a very vague post with no information to help me. Sounds like you need to read up on how to maintain and install a stereo system.

i did that,my other amp works great in the truck,i have done the big 3, h.o alt,2 batts,i even used the( how to) on setting the gains, really dont know what else to explain, other than taking close up pics of the 2 boards

Have fun with that. I'm sure they will either **** you on the repair bill or tell you there's nothing wrong with your amps because you didn't check all your connections and voltages prior to sending them in.

....the zx's have issues...I get calls on basically the same problem all the time..Kickers not talking and the last one I sent them for a customer they just replaced...I personally think they are defective and kicker doesn't want anyone to know. They lied to me flat out on the phone...The guy told me the amp was blown to pieces and he didn't realize that I work on them and knew it had a very simple problem and it would have been a 10 minute repair if they would have sold me the parts..apparently they just quit working....for no reason...I do know it has to do with the protection IC and the pulse width modulator IC they are usually bad in the ones I have been seeing..I was just going to replace them both..but kicker wouldn't sell them to me and I couldn't find them anywhere else at the time....
