For 1st systems kicker isnt bad. I loved my kicker mono block and CVR set up.

I'd say the CVX is a great all around sub. It's got the clarity of a round sub, but the "bump" the L7 can supply. I definitely love my CVXs, for the price I paid, brand new, shipped directly from Kicker. I wish I still had accommodations with them... People hate on them because they're mainstream. They're not expensive online. They're actually pretty competitive from most online dealers.

Well, I dont like my cvx's due to the fact that they can't take a lot of power, their motor design sucks, xmax sucks, SQ sucks, the spiders sag after extensive use, they bottom out on the low end notes, glues and adhesives tend to come apart. They are only good bang for your buck kinda subs for like high school kids and ppl on a budget.

I'm really excited to get rid of them. I still havent desided if I'm gonna run four 18's or stick with four 15's.

Listened to a SS component set few weeks ago and they were far from shit.

Subs are different story however.

i tend to steer away from subs that need giant boxes and have little SQ, but that's just me.

Their prices will come down. They're not going to be mainstream anymore. What big box store carries them? You have to get them online now or at small local retailers.
