kicker 800.2 and 2 12 l7's

the subs are in a sealed box and i'm getting a kicker kx800.2 shoud this sound good. i realy dont have the room for ported boxes. its in a back of a geo storm . so please help will it handle 1 ohm

I dont think it is enough power for those 12s. ive seen them handle almost a thousand watts a piece. Im not saying guve that much to them, but at least give them what they call for.

After extensive experience with L7's, I would recommend no less than 1000 watts per sub for them to sound good. If you give them 1000+ per sub, they are going to sound phenominal. However, if they are in a medium to large sealed enclosure don't give them more than 900 a piece.

My friend has L7's in a ported box, the box is only 6.5 cu. ft. and hes only running 500 watts to each sub and it sounds like shit haha, how big of amp does he need to get good sound qualiy? hes thinking of an orion 2500d

That amp will be perfect AS LONG AS HE SETS GAINS CORRECTLY!!!
