GTO6O1.1 power question

I know my 601.1 does 580 at 2ohms and 424 at 2ohms but has anyone ran a GTO601.1 at 1 ohms? Curious as to what the power rating is at 1.34 ohms cuz Im gonna be running 3 4SVC subs so yeah.

JBL reccommends only 2-4ohms and says minimum load is 2ohms but the amp shouldn't overheat should it? If you all thinks it isnt very smart/safe to run 'er at 1ohms then I will sell it...

with my experience with the 601.1 i would say dont run it at 1 ohm b/c it can overheat quite quickly. BUT i've seen people run it at 1 ohm and said it pulled something like 650 watts thats a big but though. if you got the itch to run it that low go for it it seems like a well bulit little amp.

thanks smoked....anyone else? If its she does over heat quickly then I will be selling it on here...

also if you tihnk it will overheat quickly...

what amp(s) will do 550-650W at 1ohms that are worth the money? Already looked into Alpine but they say only 2ohms as lowest and never used them anyways...

I think there are some orion amps that produce 600 watts at 1 ohm.
