Kicker 400.4 bridging questions

It will depend on the way you are delivering signal to the amp. If you are taking a left and right pair (as in using Y-splitters from just the front RCAs), and splitting it into two bridged channels, it will be stereo. If you are combining a left and right pair(running front to channels 1&2, rear to 3&4 or similar) and then bridging, you are creating a mono signal for each bridged channel (front would be a mono signal, and rear would be a mono signal). It is essentially up to you.

Kinda new to this and let me see if i got this right and i want to run a set of CDT componet s I am getting so i only need two chanels , So i need to use y adpters and i run them all off front two jacks on HU and then use the amp front pos speaker term and rear neg on each side ?

Yes, you would need to run 2 channel RCAs off of the front input, use Y-splitters on each RCA channel. Then, run the left inputs into channels 1&2, and hook up the left speakers to channel 1 positive, and channel 2 negative. Same for the right.

Thanks Jimmy ! also i got a set of CDT HD61s componet 6.5 rated at 170w rms my amp says it will do 200 w into 2 channels @ 4 ohms i think these speakers say they are 3.7 ohms will i blow them out i dont do alot of really high volume levels usually around mid of the road ?

Although it is not likely you will blow them on 200 clean watts, I do not want to tell you it will be okay and you come back to me if they fail. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to do it myself, just be conservative with the gains and leave yourself a bit of head room. If you're careful with the gain knob it might make up a bit for the slightly higher THD% you'll encounter from bridging at 4 ohms.
