Best amp for sundown sa 8 v2

[Ram1500]

I'm going to be getting 2 sundown sa 8 v2 in my truck. I what would be the best amp to us with them. I don't know it i want 4ohm or 2ohm. Witch one would give me more power.

I would like to stay under $400

Get the dual 4 ohm subs so u can run at 1 ohm ...something around the 1500rms will be perfect like a saz1500 or bc2000 all those can be had used under 400. ab vfl 120 would be nice also or the new ab hybrids

Wouldn't 1500rms be to much. the subs are only rated at 600rms each

Those can take well over the rated 500 rms each. Plus I always like to have an amp that puts out more than I need and keep the gains lower.

I would look for an amp that does 1500 rms.

I've got a saz-1500 on 2 of the sa-8 v1's and they take it fine. They don't even get warm, and they're rated at 500 watts each. I'd look for a used saz-1500d... I got mine for 220 shipped in the classifieds.

One last question. If I get the saz 1500 with that run 500 rms to each sub. so i will have 500 rms left if i want to get another sa 8 v2. Or is that 500 rms total that the amp will be putting out. Thanks
