I wouldnt give a CVR 700 watts. It possibly could take it but there would be risk involved and if you cant afford to blow a sub then yeah to much power.

Ive got two 12 inch dual 4 ohm cvrs and they bump pretty good. I had a 760? watt sony amp on them and wired it to 2 ohms per channel and it was loud for that amp..

How much trunk space do you have?

Perfect.

Gives you room to upgrade in the future as well.

You probably can get more like 550-600 watts with that amp as well.
