KHARPS' blowthrough

looking good man.... Everything will fall into place from there.

It wasn't as hard as you thought it was going to be now was it? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

It's going a little rough right now. There isn't enough room behind the seats for the 100.2, 3000d, and d3100. And I need to find a way to seal up the space that bhsdriller was asking about.

build a custom console and mount the amps to that.
And as far as the space and sealing.... Just foam it man.
That's what I was thinking (the foam). I think the center console is a good idea...I have 60/40 seats right now so I'll just use the passenger bucket for the driver's side and take a ride up to a bone yard and grab another one for the passenger side.

i would have taken the cut to the other side of the hump in the bed so the cut was actually big enough for the box...the box is taller than the cut is it not?

That sounds like a solid plan with the seats, and loving the work so far. Should be quite a bit louder than the single 10 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

i dont agree at least he did the cut already its all just changing boxes and such now the oh-shit-fuck part is over.
fixed

gotta be a bit of a leap to start the cut //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Why didn't you max out the width on the box so it wouldn't have to go so deep into the bed?
Because it's a stepside and I only have about 14'' of depth until the wheelwells.

Hope that boot is sealed properly.
Me too!

looks good
Thanks.

So you just bolt the box down and use foam inbetween the box and cab?
Just wondering because my friend wants to do one in his truck
You don't have to foam inbetween the edge of the box and the cab...just around where the box meets the cab so air doesn't leak out around the box. I know that sounds confusing but you don't foam the box to the cab, just around it.

where is the effin bed cover? lol
Ripped that ***** off. Had some nice air (and dirt) flowing through the truck on the ride home, haha.

Yeah, the box is 15'' tall and the cut is 12'' tall. That's why I didn't do 15s. But we'll see how this turns out...hopefully I'll have it up and running tomorrow. I'm running into some problems with finding space to mount the 2 channel amp.

looks good bro.
Thanks man.

Thanks man. The seat plan didn't pan out though. Oh well, I'll figure something out. I'm used to stuffing equipment behind those seats. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

looks good now do more work lol. scribed
Thanks. Had to come in for dinner!

I've always wanted to see somebody do a big *** bandpass setup in a cut thru...all the woofers in the bed ported through the cut thru
I'm pretty sure there are a few builds like that over at SMD. I also only went with 2-12s because I use my bed constantly. I'm going to have to pull the box out in a couple weeks to move out of my house down at school //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
