Looking good so far. You can get by with 15 1/2" tall for most 15's, so you should have room when you decide to upgrade.

I'd at least paint the box with some outdoor house paint to help waterproof it as MDF and water do NOT mix at all...

Thanks man. I'll buy some type of paint/waterproof today and just paint it in my bed. Do you know anyone with an o-scope?

Getting close the the end. My new longer rca cables came in friday so I will prob go out and put them in this afternoon at the office. Then just do the wheel wells and the under carriage and get the car into the bodyshop and should be rockin for the summer. All I know is it sounds **** nice with the focals and the DC sub and sundown amps. Put some new wheels on it but not really into them 100% so might sell the 2 sets I have and buy another set. I like the rears but the fronts are so so at best.

So the amp doesn't make the "stress" noise until 61.xx VAC which is barely past half way up on the gain. It's a 880prs h/u and the SLA is set to 0 and the subwoofer control is also at 0. But once I turn the SLA or sub contol to +1, the noise starts. And then when I put a cd on the subs hardly move at all...even with it set to 61.0 VAC???
