10 cuts, moving the fence 1/2" at a time will give you a 3 1/2" radius. I set my blade so there is about 1/16 to 3/32" material left. Just takes trial and error to get the correct depth.

I just did it! not as hard as it sound. Use a spare mdf piece and practice.

radial arm saw works the easiest but you can do it on a table saw if its a good saw.

Or you can just use a cheap skil circular saw

Y do it at all, one it messes with your tuning, and 2 you wont be able to tell the difference except in looks!
