kenwood head unit?

im lookin at some kenwood head units, are they in general good or bad. my pioneer 640 got stolen and i gotta get a new cd player and i only have about $150 ebay money, which is pry bout 300 or so retail. im also looking for some suggestions on a head unit in that price range

kenwood is OK. for 150 i would look into pioneer or alpine. 150 isnt much money with 50 more bucks u could get a quality deck likke the 9807 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3068184904&category=39750

ya u could get a good alpine or clarion deck that will outdo a kenwood by far. like most things the money money u spend they better quality u can get
