Hey everyone, I've just joined this great forum. Sometimes it happens to find the best forums when we are in troubles and desperately need for help..!
I have a Kenwood DNX521VBT sat nav on a VW Amarok truck. As it recently stopped working, I have performed a so called 're-flow' to try solving the issue. When opening the unit, I have found a loose cable, belonging to a socket on the mother board, I don't know where needs to be connected..
I have no clue how to find out... it clearly needs to go in the white socket but where??
Thanks in advance for your help!

I would pull the plug and troubleshoot from the other side. Usually, slots that are unused don't have pins in them. If that doesn't work, look for the install manual. It usually has the wiring connections by color. Look for the harness image. Good luck and let us know how you solved the issue.

basically no clues on the other side, tried different positions but nothing happens. the radio is dead anyway. I am going to replace the head unit with a cheap chinese unit from AliExpress.. for 50 dollars has got it all, from sat nav to car play, android, apps, extra video and audio aux, rear cam.. you name it. As I might sell it soon, I am not after quality or durability.
