No dimming at all, no voltage drop at all (maybe a tenth of a volt at full tilt?)

I'm loving it. My only complaint is that my voltage at idle is 12.x because the batteries aren't fully charged (they sat for a few months before I put them in the car) and I don't know what kind of/how many amps I should get for a charger.

BTW, this is how the basket will sit until the recone comes. I am not going to touch it anymore, my hands are sore from cleaning it so much.

Go ahead and clean those lead wires off too with your iron. Pull the lead down at a slight angle and it will clean the terminal as you pull it through the hole. After you get the drop in finished, cut the lead at a slant and the lead will pull through cleanly, if not it will unwind.
