if u turn it upto 7 and it hurts i think you may need to turn the gains down a lil....

My dad did the gain, it's fine for me- was just mentioning it as amazing (seems amazing to me)... we're going to do some adjustments next weekend when we mount the box and hookup thes nice Scosche subwoofer grille spinners.

Loud at 7, the gain is WAY to high. Thats probably why that amp is so hot. You might even be clipping it

Well I figured out how to fix it, but not sure if it's right- the head unit's "loud" was "ON", when I turn it off and I have to crank it a lot to start to hear it bang.

Haha, what's wrong with the grilles? I think they're pretty decent looking, if it looks cheesy then that's $40, no big deal...

Bought new headlights. I already have SilverStar HID-like bulbs installed, but the existing headlight is very foggy and the main lights don't power. The only thing on the car that is making it dead-ugly are the hazy headlights. Depending on how much work I have to do, I should have nice pictures of the car on Monday.

I know this is a Car Audio forum, but I thought it would be pretty cool to share what I'm doing with the car.
