Ok first off I tried searching on this...and from what i've found on the W6's they seem to be a sub of good SQ with decent SPL (i've never heard them before). I am currently running a set of 2 12" Alumapro Alchemy MX single 8ohm subs off of a Kicker SX 900.2. I'm pretty happy with them but i'm looking for a little bit more SPL.

I currently have the opportunity to buy the W6's for a reallllyyy good price from an authorized dealer. Now what I want to know is will I hear an good difference between the subs or should I just keep the Alumapro's.

Thanks in advance

for that price buy the subs anyways. you cant go wrong. install them, if you dont like them, sell them. at the price you are paying, you could always sell them for the same as you payed(maybe more) and be out nothing. i think you'll like the w6s more though. one hell of a sub.

**** at 180bux a piece i would buy them anyway. If you don't like them just sell them for more.
agreed... U could probably sell them for $250 a pop on ebay if u don't like them...

How are the MX's installed??

Well I have them in a custom sealed enclosure...where they are getting about 1.25 per sub...but I have the phase reversed on them...the shop where I bought them from the owner told me they sound a lot better that way...which they do...but i guess i'm gonna give the W6's a try
