i know these thigns are built solid, anyone run them 1 ohm daily? if so how they'd take it, what kind of electrical, and what kinda of setup (box/subs)

ive heard several storys about this issue,1 is yea they will do it daily,but a friend of mine who is into db drag and owns his own shop,says thier really strong amps and all,but in his experiences they would burp at 1ohm but cut off and go into protect daily at 1 ohm

Same board as the ZX2500.1

I ran one daily for 4months @1ohm no problems. It would cut out occasionally... when I first fired up the car and the coils were cold. But it would be just for a split second.

in time im gonna get a second one and do 1 per coil (2 ohm nominal each) and for now just 1 ohm daily on one......... thats the plan so far.......

i ran one of mine @ 1 ohm for a while......now they're @ 2 ohms each until i get the other 2.....a teammate of mine is running one @ .7 daily.....fine no problems.

Yup i have had mine at .7 since i got it! No problems at all.
