Kappa Tweeter popping... what now?? :'(

well.... I have Infinity Kappa 6.5 Comps all the way around my car (about 5 or 6 years old the green ones)... my drivers side front tweeter is popping... just a matter of time till it goes out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif ... i think its is seriously the stock crossovers in the car that split the door speaker and the dash tweeter... or they arent getting enough power( just hooked to the HU )... didn't have enough time to rewire and put the Kappa crossovers in the front..... well... can someone point me into a good direction as to getting some HIGH QUALITY tweeters? I've bought some tweeters before that had the exact same specs as the kappas but they just weren't as good..... if i replace one i have to replace them both... well???

Also what are better in SQ and durabulity than Silk dome tweeters??

depends on what kinda sound you want... my fave is silk, but metal tweeters are used for i guess a more detailed sound.

idk.... i had a Kappa go out in the front b4 so i replaced it with one of the backs and bought 2 soft dome liquid filled tweeters of something like that with the same specs... and they sound ok... but nowhere near as idk how to say... when the silk tweeters sound off in my techno and rock it puts me in an almost extacy.... i mean i love my Kappas... thats why im pissed that 1 is going out....i mean i noticed it as soon as it started.... i think they are the Kappa 10.7 Silk M.M.D. tweeters..... how do tweeters start going out anyway??
