Just was looking for some new music.

And came across these guys, HURT. I have heard of these guys and just really started to listen to them. Sound a lot like Tool. When I was reading there website I guess it is just 2 of them. Truely amazing if so. I mean the lyrics are off the chain and the instrumental is very good.

Also Lucuna Coil. They are on myspace and they have a video I just seen on music choice. I really like them. There are two lead singers, a girl and a guy. Very different. I really dont know who to compare them to. I am going tomorrow to get these albums.

Oh also 30 miles to Mars has some good tunes as well. Just posting some new stuff I am getting into. Anyone else have anything else they could recommend on the alternative side? Also some more mellow stuff as well would be cool if you could think of any. Peace!

I've got a few bands CD's that I've had for a while but am just getting around to listening to...

Thrice - Post Hardcore/Experimental Rock I'd say, pretty good stuff. They've been around for a while, but I just started liking them a lot. Check out their myspace...

Gym Class Heroes - Sort of a punk rap group, with a twist of emo. The lyrics are awesome, and the beats are sick as hell. You've gotta check 'em out if you've never heard of them. They have a myspace too.

Angels & Airwaves - their new CD came out a month or so ago, and I've been listening to it all the time since. Its sort of like a mix between old U2 and modern rock. Pretty mainstream, getting a lot of radio play so far.

Thursday - A really good band, check 'em out.
