I Plan on getting 2 SWR-1042D Alpine Type R Dual 4 ohm subs. My amp is a Punch 800a2. I want to bridge my amp on them. This setup will give me a 2ohm load on my amp correct?

ok i found a wiring diagram, so i know what i need...My prob now, Does Alpine make a dual 2ohm type r 10'? If so where can i get one?

yes, for a 2ohm load from BOTH speakers [ as shown above ] you need a PAIR of Dual 2ohm voicecoil subwoofers, and yes, alpine makes dvc2 typer10's [ as see in the ebay auction ]
