I never watched the Austin powers series because it always just kind of looked like of corny to me, ended up seeing it one time while we were still waiting for cable to be installed in our new house and thought it was one of the funnier movies so I will probably like this if it is similar.

As a hockey fan, I will not see this movie.
I saw a preview, and watching Romany Malco attempt to take a slap shot, looked like a 4 month old baby learning how to hold a hockey stick.

At least make some of it remotely plausible...a 25 year old hot owner, a black superstar that can't skate, and a midget coach....riiiiiight.

I despise 'sports' movies that are not being close to plausible. For instance, the Mighty Ducks movies, were awful.

However, watch Miracle, and it's great- they chose to get people that could skate AND act...

With all due respect. You told me in a different section of this forum that you were a hockey player (because you had to haul a crap load of gear around in your HHR).

I've seen car races, football games, futball games, basketball games, and even the all boring baseball game from now and then. I missed this years Stanley Cup, but I have seen it in the past.

I'm a pretty decent size...about 6'1-2", 230lbs...but surprisingly, a lot of goalies are small and quick nowadays.

I was just wondering, what it was about hockey that got you. I mean, you are the goalie which means you are the last stand on defense breakdown, on offense suckage, etc... You are the one that gets all the shit when you lose, but no credit when you win.

I'm a goalie too, but I play on my feet instead of those fast *** skates ya'll got.

I was just wondering what keeps you going is all. You know, the drive... The stuff outside of the rush of it all.

Really can't explain it, just love playing. Been playing for 15 years now, and still to this day wish I could play every single day.

I don't get all the shit when we lose, I'm really good at deflecting blame away from myself, unless I know I was at fault.
