You guys who keep touting him for an Oscar win know that there are still another 5.5 months of movies yet this year? It was a great performance, but you haven't even seen all the movies against which it will be compared. Agreed, but still what are any big blockbusters that are coming out soon. I can't think of any that will compete with his performance. I mean there is always a chance, but i doubt any movies will come out to beat ledger as the joker.

Do you really like the movie because its a batman movie or because ledger died? Seems people only wanted to see the movie because it was ledger's last movie. Were you all evenly excited when brokeback mountain came out lol, He was in that movie too. I never saw so much hype for a movie in my life..

Go watch it and find out for yourself. I can tell you that i could care less if ledger was in it or not or if he died. I was never really a fan of his, but you can not deny that he did a phenominal job playing the joker.

its not about which actor it's really about performance and he did a great job.

I brought up mountain, and even "ten things i hat about u" to my friends' attention and asked " can u beleive it's the same guy?" Because performance was that good.

Nobody even talked about his death till later.

I'd be pretty shocked if he didn't win. It was like Javier whatver his name is, the bad guy in no country for old men. When you know, you know. Ledger did an amazing job as him, truly one of the most fukked up bad guys ever in a movie.

I loved the movie, but it almost fell apart at the end. Little anti-climactic, but I'm sure they probably thought after they had finished shooting that the Joker would be back, and well, that obviously isn't happening any more (and they obviously couldn't shoot any more scenes because Heath died). I think it's kind of the like theme/story for the third star wars. but a lot better.

the Pencil trick was the sh*t.. HEATH LEDGER played the joker role very well imo and Christian Bale voice as batman started to become annoying. Anyway a must see movie.

I don't see how people didn't like it. Do any of you read the comics? If you read them then I could only seeing you appreciating the movie. I thought it was very well done and way better then the first one. People are just trying to read to much out of it though...
