Whats up fellas,

I have maybe installed 10 -12 different systems for my buddies and I over the years but this is the first time in a while that im installing a system of this caliber for myself.

The hardware:

pioneer avic n4

polk 6.5 x4 (55rms ea) 4 ohm

pioneer premier ts w2502spl x2(800rms ea)2 ohm wired together to present 2ohm load

hifonics txi6406 (85rms x 4) 4ohm

kole kx1-5500d (2500rms x1) @2ohm

kicker 0/1 dual amp kit

200amp ho alt

kinetik hc2000

2 headrest 7" lcd's

2 12.2" hitachi visor lcd's

So here we go. i got all the video stuff down since i didnt seem to forget any of that stuff.

now for the audio. Basically everything in the truck power wise is stock. Im going to be running roughly 1850rms throughout the truck( 96 yukon). I was told that real system no longer use capacitors. i was told that they are a waste of money. so the tech that was helping me inform me that if i equip my truck with the right size power source along with the right size charging source that i wont have to go the cap route. 1. how do you guys feel about that?

So going by that i brought a ho alt which moved my specs from stock 105amp to ho 200amps. and also brought an kinetik hc2000 which is a complete upgrade from my diehard, lol. 2. so can my system run of this setup?

i was assured that it would.(he might have been trying to make a sell)

If your curious about the way it will be run i was thinking of running 0 gauge front to back to a distribution block breaking off to two 4 gauge power feed to amps at under 2 ft. then i was going to run 0 gauge from distribution block 3 ft to ground and running two ground 4 gauge lines to amps.

3. Does this all sound right?

4. What do you think of the hardware setup?

i brought what i thought was relevant. all i know is even though it rated at 2500 rms @ 2ohms that its really only pushing 75%-80% of that (which is 1875 to 2000 to be more accurate). the subs are pretty good subs rated at 1600rms together. i think they should match up well. but again im up here to get advise so you guys let me know what you think. is it overkill?
