Just got my new type R from OCS hooked up my amp in sig at like 3/4 power and it rocks. So question can this type R handle all the power of the amp in my sig i can give a link if needed.

set with a dmm....turning up the knob to 3/4 does not mean you are getting 3/4 the power

x2. Set correctly with DMM. More than likely with your amp, you will start clipping before you get to full power. Go for around 600 watts rms.

SQRT(RMS*final ohm) = output voltage.

so for your application, you are looking for ~24.49V

if the amp is not over-rated, then it will be a great match for a single type R

yea i dont think the amp is overrated i heard only the larger hifonics are so can i turn the gain all the way up lol?

But that is with your gains maxed. Better to set it a little short of max so you don't clip the signal. (Because as you may or may not know, clipping killed my mother).
